Post 8 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Saturday, 31-Mar-2007 14:34:34

I tend to find that important announcements are made onthe first of any given month. I know with important stuff I like to announce at the beginning of the month. I'm not sure why this seems to happen a lot. Unfortunately, a lot of people will jump to the april fool's reasoning. I fully support Admin and know that he would only make decisions that would benifit the site.

I won't be here, cause it's like 5 a,m in Australia.

in my opinion and not only mine I think, this is another joke something like when they said they would shut down the zone and the people who believed it got pissed off and it was funny to see that some of them acted like parking their ass on the zone was the only thing they could do and they would be lost without it

Curious Liam said: "I fully support Admin and
know that he would only make decisions that would benifit the site."

You mean like firing all the cls? You mean like hiring his roomys as cls? (By the way, are they still cls?)

Why should we be made fools of once again?

I'll be here if I happen to remember, or maybe I won't. But, I'm not going to get worked up about anything that goes on here for a long while.

Once again I'm reminded that there's lots of stuff more important than what happens in this virtual playland.

blbobby. that was just a joke even if many people found it annoying, and yes they are still cl's

Post 17 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Sunday, 01-Apr-2007 10:06:25

but the point is that it was a joke carried out with no justification. it wasn't an april fool's joke - it wasn't done on 1st of April, so therefore it was just a joke carried out with the full intention of getting the user's backs up. Why? why sack cls, why post fake apologies making cl's out to have breached the rules? let's not forget that te cl's were actually stripped of their privilages during this time, were they aware it was a joke? or were they fired with no explanation/reason and only told once j realized the joke was on him and that the users were seriously annoyed.

and did mel actually post that apology? or did the admin hack into her account and post it on her behalf as it were? And if mel didn't actually post the clarification "disgraced cl", doesn't that say a lot about how everyone's account on here can be compromised by an admin should he so choose?

Had the "joke" happened today and been resolved today then I think a lot of people would have found it more amusing, but to drag it out for over a week and to make people admit to things they hadn't done is in extremely bad taste IMO, and I think that as a result of this the admins have lost all their credibility with the users.

lol, does it matter? hmmm? heheheh

Post 20 by rat (star trek rules!) on Sunday, 01-Apr-2007 12:53:47

the passwords are protected so even an admin can't see them. why would an admin hack an account anyways? use some common since here please?

Post 21 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Sunday, 01-Apr-2007 13:15:52

look, I really don't think an admin would hack in someone's account without them knowing. instead I would think that the cl's knew about this joke and if mel didn't post that disgraced cl thing the admin did it with her permission, nothing stops her from changing her password if she gave it to him. I don't know if the admins can see our passwords or not, but don't think they would use soemone's account without them knowing

Post 22 by rat (star trek rules!) on Sunday, 01-Apr-2007 13:24:42

i remember from another board topic that no one can see passwords, not cls or admins, so getting in to someones account is impossible unless someone knows the password already
